March 2009 – With a desire to open a facility that reflected the unique character of the downtown Kansas City Crossroads District, Missouri Bank decided to renovate an old masonry mechanics garage located at 125 Southwest Boulevard into an eclectic, environmentally-friendly banking center.
Helix Architecture + Design and HarenLaughlin Construction stepped up to the challenge and created the visually stimulating facility that it is today. In addition, sustainable design and construction practices were utilized at every opportunity to meet the qualifications needed to be considered for LEED Silver certification including a green roof.
