Established in 1932 and in our third
generation, HarenLaughlin
Construction is a Kansas City-based general contracting firm. We specialize in the construction and
development of commercial and industrial projects.
Our markets are many. From commercial office to religious
facilities, we have enjoyed all types of projects in our 75 years. The mix of procuring our work is split
between traditional bid and negotiated agreements, which vary in
scope. We believe the healthy
balance keeps us well rounded and knowledgeable of the fluctuations
inherent in our industry.
We are committed to our people both in the
office and field and appreciate the fact one cannot reach their potential
without the other. Our skilled
employees enable us to self-perform much of our work. We pride ourselves in setting a safe
yet aggressive schedule while maintaining the standard of quality we
demand of all who work with us.
Individuals at HarenLaughlin take an active role in the industry. All three generations of Harens have
served as president of the Kansas City Chapter of the Association of
General Contractors of America. The leadership roles of others in the
company are equally as important as we feel obligated to help shape the
future of our industry and community.
