"I can not pinpoint one particular part of my job that I like better than the others — I enjoy all aspects of what I do."

"Down to earth, what you see is what you get. I think we do a good job of trying to make construction an enjoyable experience for the owner. Quality."
Who is your ideal mentor?
"I have two: my father and my grandfather."
What do you have hanging in your office?
"I have a couple posters. One says, 'The work you perform is a self-portrait of yourself. Autograph yourself with quality.' The other says, 'Every morning in Africa a lion awakes knowing he will need to be faster than the slowest gazelle or he will go hungry. Every morning in Africa, a gazelle awakes knowing he will need to be faster than the fastest lion or he will be eaten. The moral of this story is: When the sun comes up you had better be running.'"
Lessons learned from your childhood:
"Always work hard but also smart."
If you had a week to spend doing whatever you wanted, what would it be?
"I would spend it with my family doing whatever they wanted to do (hopefully fishing or hunting)."
