Describe a life defining moment:
"On my first project out of college the superintendent I was working for clarified for me that this is not a construction business, this is a people business. If you can understand people and what motivates them, from coworkers to subcontractors and suppliers to owners, you can have a very successful career in this business. It is all about people."

What do you have hanging in your office?
"Photos of my wife and three children and short essay about 'attitude' by Chuck Swindoll."

Lessons learned from your childhood:
"My father taught me to be accountable for my actions and my mother taught me to stand up for what you believe in. Mom also taught me that after a rough day, there isn't much better than warm chocolate chip cookies and milk."

If you could be a professional athlete what would you be and why?
"A 6'-9" power forward, because I have always wanted to dunk a basketball."

If you had a week to spend doing whatever you wanted, what would it be?
"Anything outdoors fishing or hunting, or spending a week with my family anywhere they want to be."
